The Allied Churches Teaching Self Empowerment Community Development Corporation (ACTS-CDC) is a non-profit organization assisting families with homeownership opportunities and rehab projects primarily in the communities surrounding its partner churches in Milwaukee.

Audience and Goals: ACTS needed a presence on the web to promote its services, showcase its achievements, and receive donations.

Solution: A basic CMS installation and template customization to match the existing ACTS brand. Much attention was given to carefully assembling and editing photo and text to give visitors a quick but in-depth and accurate grasp of what ACTs is about. I was able to acquire a good .com domain for ACTS and later the corresponding .org domain, both on the expired domain market.
